PB - Great post on the new StrongARM features. It sounds like Intel is doing much, much more than providing an updated process for the StrongARM design. The longer pipes, better power control circuitry, addition of speculative execution to prevent stalls in the pipe, doubling the cache sizes, cache write-through, etc., sound like Intel is bringing lots of knowledge and experience gained form "goosing" the x86 performance into the StrongARM realm. This will hopefully result in a new, powerful revenue stream for Intel in the not too distant future. Paul
