CANUCK DAVE: It is my understanding, after talking to my broker the other day, that Canadian BB stocks certainly may be shorted. However, in the USA I've been told that is not legal/possible. To be shorted in the USA, a stock must have a certain value($5.00) I think, and be listed on NASDAQ. Someone correct me if I'm wrong in details, but that's how I understood what I was told. Therefore, it is quite possible that some serious shorting has taken place north of the border. The MM's could be part of it of course, but in the case of "naked shorting", getting out of the problem will be much more difficult! Coz, Handshake, is this basically accurate? The Gipper
