OJ,

I sure have to agree from lurking here for a while that everyone does seem nice....

I also agree with you on the time frame for a trade - the shorter the better! I was almost forced into this as the times I woke up and found a downgrade or something else bad far exceeded the times I woke up and found an upgrade/buyout. Felt like I had no control over anything.

I am under the impression Jenna does not give the earnings plays that far out. Must of missed a place to get next months calendar. From your description OJ, we trade in similar ways. Like you, I paid for the course - <G>.

You are way ahead of me with the shorting shares. Tried it a couple of times and just wasn't comfortable with it...Like puts better although I don't really know why....maybe need more practice?

Hmmm an alert on volume....hadn't thought of that one. I use alerts much of the time and then go check out the single quote screen for what the volume is doing. QCharts QTrin number seems to be a verifier. IMO Just something I noticed the beginning of the week and seems to be working. Part of the reason I signed up is to have more time for bridge and to "play" with qcharts. I would really appreciate sharing ideas about qcharts as I am sure it would shorten the learning curve for all of us....lurkers included. <G>

Saw your post for the website for point and figure charting. This has been one thing I have not been able to master and not convinced I need to. Don't understand why as I can usually at least grab the concept behind the TA and in most cases apply it. I do tend to agree with Richard though that there can be too much information processing.

Time to go back to Spring cleaning and maybe the paint is dry so I can put things back. Looking forward to your posts as I am sure many others are.

Oh, forgot there was another Judy and since "lumber" and I just don't get along, JJ it is! <G>

Thanks for the info,

JJ
