MT: I own gdsc (gateway data science). I also started the thread on that stock back in nov 1996. When i started the thread on that, it went from 6 1/2 to 16.75 in about one month. My timing was really lucky on that. However, i bought that as an ipo back in march of 1996 and continue to buy it all summer. I did extremely well on it.However, you are right NASI is my favorite stock and i plan on hold for the long term. I own a few share of a van couver stock called Sino Pacific (SPV.V)a gold stock.I would never recommend that stock to anyone as it is pure speculation. (ie hit or miss). I tried to start a thread on Sino,itwas popular. As a matter of fact, the only stock i would ever recommend to anyone is NASI (if your long term) as you can not get hurt. Last summer NASI went under 1/sh and i picked up 10000 shares as i only look at the selling as an oportunity. Same as today,the best time to buy is when everone is selling, not when everyone else is buying. I was hoping NASI would go below 3/sh to pick up more shares, but i guess today's market did not scare any of the nasi investors.
