The ones who will be the most against this are the ones who might lose the most, obvious. I think it will actually provide more stability in the market, as these induced runs at the bells will cease, investors may act more responsible, long-term holds will become more beneficial, penny runs will rise and crash with less bs that we'll have to put up with over the night. Most of all, it'll be fun! ...those addicted to the trade will suffer the most, to say the least, physically and mentally. Those not, keep liquid when away, step up to the screen for a few hours, whenever, and make enough to go play in the real world some more.. it's an excellent idea, I'm afraid the ones I see that hate it mainly are up to tricks that they think might not work with the new rules. Plus, being on the WC sux for trading, Hawaii is a nightmare. Ameritrade just went 24 hours on-phone trading a couple of weeks ago, it's been great for me. |
