I wish that shorts could keep a stock down, hell then shorting would be a lot easier:) Unfortunately this is not the case, There are simply too many outstanding shares in most issues and it would take an extreme amount of shorting to actually affect the price. If anything, shorting would have raised this stock in the midst of all the talk of drilling results. So I don't think that there is much shorting going on here, my concern is actually selling, and from what I gather from posts here, you guys are in it for the long haul. So who is selling and causing the price to drop??? I am only following this one because questions were raised and I am interested in the outcome. And I appreciate the replies. I short far more stocks than I long, but not this one, the risk just wouldn't make sense at .35 per share that they might pull gold from one of the those holes. And I disagree with your argument about positive news, most "real deal" companies issue shares and then simply go at the task of making money for the company and thus for the shareholders. PR is not that major to them until after the first phase of actually getting products out the door. We will have to watch the news next week and after to see.
