Modem noises...(continued) Try this ... Use a terminal program such as HyperTerm available in Win98. Manually enter AT commands and see if you can find what works going through the 'back door.' Once you know what gets your modem's attention, you can then work at getting your message passed on by Windows. This problem seems tougher than it first appears. Best to break it into smaller pieces and solve each individually. Best luck, PW
