Rig activity

U.S. drilling activity was up 16 rigs to 534 rigs last week.
Drilling in Texas was up 11 rigs to 188 rigs. The offshore rig
utilization rate in the Gulf was 67.2 percent, down from
96.0 percent a year earlier.
