OT Bought another for the household ( but will never buy a Mitsubishi again unless the mysterious settlement was large..lol), but my main TV is Sony XBR from 1980 or so. I think HDTV will come on faster than expected too, Carl. As premium cable channels try to differentiate themselves from one another...then as networks increase HDTV content etc. Natural laws of competitive survival will come into play. All of that would mean nothing if the picture was no big deal...but it is unquestionably a knockout to my eyes. The brief FAQ at this link is worth reading, in my opinion. marketing.cbs.com Off to attempt an AXC snooze once more. But will sometimes lurk as I shirk. Do enjoy the thoughts and research of the many fine posters on this board.
