Float last reported - 63M shares Short interest as of 5/99 - 11M shares Real float (float+short) - 74M shares Institiutions own - approx. 55 to 58M shares of the 74M retail + daytraders + MM inventories = 16 to 18M shares of the 74M ps. Recent insiders selling has increased the float by 1M shares(IMO), the 6 to 8M convertible bond shares are not included here. << Are you saying the amzn story is nothing but supply/demand for shares with the fundamental data being irrelevant ? The longs will not like that at all.
