Herman:
This is my first time speaking up although I have been reading this thread since the first few days. I enjoy the reading every night and I have been learning a lot and I would like to say thanks for your all your input. I have been currently been writing cc on IOM and MEDA. I am about even on IOM and a couple of points ahead in MEDA. I have been watching ROST very closely.
I have appreciated this thread since everyone wanted to share and learn. There has never been any hype and everyone seems conservative. There have been many books listed as must reading for cc writing.
Robert are you getting this???? People are rising against you even though you have some good points - because your comments don't make sence. Have you read all the previous posts? Steve's stratagy? All the suggested books? Please....Risks you say??? The risks are still there but much, much less. I have been burned on some of my covered calls - I bought the stock for the high options premium and the stock went down past my "nut". The stratigies suggested by Steve and Herman are good, sound and about as conservative as you can get in the stock market.

Bottom line Herman and Steve are teaching, sharing their experiences and I want to thank them. They don't have to do that. There are plenty of threads where all you get is hype and discention. I believe that the opposition that you have received is because they are helping us - we like and appreciate them. I for one would like you to add to the conversation in a positive way. I believe that your questions and concerns have already been answered in the previous posts. Please read them all and you will find your answers.

In conclusion, sometimes you have to fail to learn. There will be failures (hopefully small and infrequent) but they are only failures if you don't learn from them. We get older, smarter and wiser. Now Robert you have some reading to do.

Jeff.
