carl...maybe i'm being too lax about this veeco/wyko deal, but i have a decent amount of confidence in veeco's mgmt,to trust that they know what they need,to grow their company....they have been putting together pretty decent growth numbers....if they picked wyko [ many similar type of companies they could have chosen ] lets hope they see something that maybe we don't yet understand....this company will still only have 9 million shares outstanding...NOT MUCH AT ALL....i think it shows the confidence the company has with it's present business activity to go out and start shopping with their own stock...i'm still feeling very confident with my veeco shares....just one man's opinion....this might sound a little cocky, but tell me some other stocks [ with the understanding that you want to be in the stock market ] with a equal or better risk/reward ratio and i'll buy them......
