I agree that it is wise to go slow with genetic engineering, but I don't agree that it shouldn't be done at all. I would like to see a tomato plant with leave like lettuce and strips of bacon growing alongside the tomatoes so that I could make my BLTs off of 1 plant.

Would you allow your genes changed so that you would age very slowly and live a healthy life to, say, 300?
