This post is a gem, Hal. Some issues: 1) Are we headed toward an ITVU model with AXC's corporate production/distribution inititative? (Note: GE/NBC is a minority investor in ITVU.) For those who aren't clear, ITVU is a Webcasting solutions house, or "enabler." It provides Net TV facilities and services and effects broadcasting transparently, in the names of its clients and from their own Web sites. It does not control content or run a BCST-like network. intervu.com 2) Are we likely to announce such strategic alliances before Fall? That seems like forever on Internet time. Hopefully, some announcements can be made at the time of AXC's late-June Webcast. Think one of the major questions for AXC management is to ask for an articulation of its corporate production/distribution strategy. Commencing with the announcement in Ed B.'s shareholder letter, all references thus far present a vague picture of what this initiative really means. BAM
