Katherine - Inre ASP's

Although I remember the data you posted on ASP's, I would comment that as we move from being driven by PC's to being driven by communications devices that I would expect the ASP to drop. The primary reason is that PC's have some very expensive chips in them, but cell phones and modems do not. Whether this shift is what is being seen in the recent ASP decline, I do not know, but it is at least a possibility. It would be interesting to see chip ASP's for each of the sectors and see if the cheaper sectors are gaining share. Just a thought

PS Note that I am inherently suspicious of 'this time its different' sentiments, but it needs at least some consideration. As usual, interesting discussion.

PPS Note that ICE does not allow public access to the ASP data, at least so far as I can find.
