I'm afraid that the vitriol from Emile is what we have to suffer in order to participate on the internet - to my mind "the last free place on earth."

If we took away his right to post, where would we draw the line?

Also, perhaps there is a positive in all of this that people of his ilk can be readily refuted and shown for what they are - bigots.

There is of course a point where people like him are simply ignored.

Also, having people of intelligence on these threads helps those of us who sometimes post "strange stuff" get a well-deserved rebuttal now and then.

I love the internet because it helps us arrive at the truth better than any other existing medium of exchange. You can bet that the media moguls and "statesmen" would love to see this place "brought under control." I for one hope that never happens.
