Chuzzlewit, Why go to those who don't even believe in God for answers? Bibles are not outlawed in this country. If you really want some answers then I would suggest that you read the Bible starting in Genesis, and go all the way through to Revelation. Ask God to give you some insight. By the time your done you will probably have thrown it across the room more than a few times, most likely rip a few pages out when a nerve is hit and curse more often than not. Hopefully though when it's all said and done you will have a better understanding of how God views sinners and the plan of salvation he has laid out for those who are willing to put their faith in Him.
