Lebed is a pragmatic man, and rather low key. I think his chances
will be as good as Cernomyerdin to win he election. He is no friend of Zyuganov and Zhironvoski. I he wins, he will rule alone,
and he has the army behind him. I won't be suprised once in power
he becomes a dictator, and Russians wont mind, as long he pays the
state pensionors, and puts plenty of Vodka, Makhorka, and Potators, and Khelb, free or very cheap, and plentyful!
Ron, we in the West have a distorted vision of Russia seen through silly CNN eyes. Russia is not Moscow, and St. Petersburg. Russia is thousnads upon thousands of small villages that go dot the land from Konigsburg to Nakhodka! They don't care about Mercedes cars and Benton.
