In your AMZN example, why would you not park your 199 3/8 bid with ISLD? Statistically, bids below the market or offers above the market are always going to have the highest probability of getting filled, on the ECN that does significantly higher volume then its competitors. For clarification, say AMZN trades 119 3/8th and then rallies immediately, instead of the inside market dropping to 119 1/4 before AMZN rallies as in your example? The bottom line, as I am sure you are aware, ISLD destroys ARCA in the volume that it does every month.
