Very minimal difference in oil futures prices month-to-month... In a previous post I mentioned that now there is only a few cents difference between this month's oil price and the price 6 months from now. Following are today's closing prices showing the difference: Thursday March 13, 1997 Market Open High Low Last Net Change Time(EST) Crude Oil April 1997 20.90 21.05 20.65 20.70s 0.08 16:23 May 1997 20.85 21.04 20.65 20.76s 0.08 16:23 June 1997 20.80 20.95 20.65 20.73s 0.05 16:23 July 1997 20.70 20.80 20.61 20.65s 0.04 16:23 August 1997 20.68 20.75 20.55 20.58s 0.02 16:23 September1997 20.58 20.65 20.49 20.53s 0.01 16:23 October 1997 20.48 20.60 20.48 20.48s 0.00 16:23 The price difference month-to-month used to be 0.35 cents or more.
