Hi Robbie! WOW!!!!! What a great race!!! I watched on TV - verrrry exciting! Too bad Jeff crapped out, but Dale did pretty good. I saw Dale, Jr. for the first time - he doesn't look like Dad to say the least! This made me laugh -

Jack Rausch sez: "Jeff Burton is the man of the evening!"

WRONG!!!! WRONG!!!!!! WRONG!!!!!

K sez: "Tony Stewart is the man of the evening!" Was he incredible or what??? He finishes in 4th after finishing 9th at INDY (which, BTW, I refuse to watch) and they take him out of the car in a stretcher! GEEZ! Stewart is the only driver to ever finish both races and only the third to make the attempt. John Andretti is the only other driver to race in both on the same day, but he didn't finish the 600. Robby Gordon is the other one, but INDY was rained out that year. Speaking of Robby Gordon, how'd you like to be in the lead in the INDY 500 with one lap to go and run out of gas?? What a heartbreaker!

I liked Stewart's comment on the day: "I'm ready for a nap."

Lime Rock was great as well. Can-Am and Trans-Am racing - I love the sound of those Ferrarrrrrris! <ggg> Saw a lot of old friends - guys that were driving when I first became a fan.

Hope you had a good time!

jajajaja
