Guess I will join in the thanks, Ish. Nobody in my family seems to have fought in any wars since the Civil War, and I can't think of anyone else who has, either, except for you. Guess you're it. So, thank you very much.

Edit: I know other people who were in the military, but not in combat. Even the ancestor I knew who served in the Civil War was in the Quartermasters Corps. Chris' dad was with AFN Munich, a radio station during the occupation. My erstwhile friend Brian pulled strings to get put in military intelligence during Viet Nam, and spent the war spying on protestors. My dad was drafted into the Navy during Korea, and played in the band. Not a single combatant among them.

Edit: one of Chris' ancestors was a general in the Civil War, and after that taught at West Point. He wrote a manual of military tactics that was still used until recently.
