Eric,

I used to use satellite feed for quotes and the biggest problem I had, other than the small delay you mention, is that on very dark, cloudy days or during heavy rain, my satellite receiver lost the signal completely for lengthy periods of time. Not good. I could occasionally be down for 5-10 minutes or more during rain. It blocks the signal.
