SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1999--Storage networking will radically change the way data is accessed and managed along with altering the parameters with which IT managers buy and integrate storage and how vendors supply it.

Storage networking will slowly infiltrate all aspects of networking and storage, and, in doing so, will provide opportunities to new players while threatening established vendors that may be caught unprepared.

''Storage Networking - An Industry Revolution'' is the theme of the Network Storage '99 conference, to be held in Monterey, Calif. from June 28 to June 30. In its sixth year, the annual Network Storage conference has established itself as a premier forum for storage and storage networking topics.

More than 300 leading industry experts, IT professionals and vendors will attend to analyze the issues pertaining to system products, applications and solutions. Hardware and software network solutions and customer experience are discussed in team presentations of two presenters, with many IS participants.

The opening event for Network Storage '99 at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 28, will be a keynote address by David Weiss, chairman, president and CEO, Storage Technology Corp.

On Tuesday afternoon, Network Storage '99 will host its Executive Roundtable assessing the network storage industry, with the participation of:
