AMAT followers better hope Obsidian has already done so OR that their lack of doing so factored into their valuation. It would be a shock to me if any of Obsidian's intellectual property that has not gotten proper attention from Patent Counsel hasn't crossed hairs with section 102 of Title 35, regardless of AMAT's deep pockets. Besides, the US is still a first to invent country with one year bars or limits on patent protection due to commercialization (on sale) or public use among other things. Am I misunderstanding your point?
