Dave I wonder how it compares with the Yamaha... Me too... 'CD Res-Q hard drive recovery software for PC' sounds useful...not available to the Yamaha. Although the Plextor packet-writing sw not as well known to me as Adaptec's which Yamaha uses. I'd like to order the printer today from buy.com for the free shipping..its either your Brother, which I agree would be just fine and I like the quality of my Brother fax machine, or the Okidata 6e which is cheaper at $176 and gets a slightly higher PCworld rating if that means anything...
