hey hp, no, i hadn't seen that article. thank you. one month ago i upgraded from communicator4.5 to 4.51. i did that primarily for the security fixes. but to answer your question, no i have not installed 4.6 yet. why not? because i'm still reading on the user groups about difficulties people are experiencing with the browser or the download/install process. of course, seldom does anyone go there and post that everything is fine and dandy, right? point being, it's a place to discuss problems, so it always looks like stuff is wrong. there is also the opinion that 4.6 is just netscape's way of promoting 4.51... and that there really is no appreciable change. shrug. who knows? meanwhile, i'm very pleased with 4.51 and i know i have plenty of time to go up a notch. and 5.0 will be here before long, i suspect. <g3> how about you? are you running 4.6? :) mark
