A preliminary interpretation of the results of a surface geophysical program indicates conductivities and coincident high magnetic intensities throughout the known Main Zone (East & West) strike length of + 8 kilometers. The geophysical signatures indicate that the zone is open along strike both east and west, and that there are previously unrecognized zones at depth. Five inclined diamond drill holes were also completed as part of the first phase program. Two holes tested East zone updip of a previous Inco hole which reportedly intersected 23.9 meters grading 1.28% Ni and 1.08% Cu. The other three holes tested that part of West Zone previously reported to host a resource of 6.4 million tonnes grading 0.87% Cu and 0.75% Ni. Massive sulphide sections were encountered in all holes drilled; drill core samples are currently enroute to the laboratory for analysis.
