Some basic functional details

In a nutshell, this alphanumeric pager features
a tiny keyboard and screen unit, which can pull
stock quotes using 2-way paging technology that
gives you a full set of quote info that are only
a few seconds old. Over the summer they will be
adding real time stock news, and intraday charting
all on it's little screen. Reception is very good,
and use is unlimited, as long as the AA battery
that usually lasts 2 weeks does not run out of juice.
It also works as a standard 2-way alpha pager which
comes in handy when your secretary is trying to
reach you, and your cell phone does not work right.

at around $140 per month, it's kind of pricey, when
you can simply get stock quotes off your cell phone
for only .25 each, but for some of us, this type of
unit is really worth the trouble. one of the nice
things about getting it now, is they don't seem to
want to raise the price any higher despite adding a
lot more functionality over the coming months.
