An on-site report.....

On Friday, I visited PNLK offices in midtown Manhattan and talked with David Walker, COO. His comments, though guarded, are extremely encouraging.

June will be a very big month for PNLK:

1) The launching of the eagerly awaited advertising campaign. The initial thrust will start June 7 and run 30 days. In addition to cable television, there will be radio commercials aired during drive time in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The second wave of advertising will commence in September after the summer lull.

2) A 2-week trade mission to Europe under the auspices of the U. S. Commerce Department. The beauty of this mission is that the Commerce Department makes the appointments, provides the meeting places, and charges an extremely nominal fee. Walker said the PNLK team will visit every economic power in Western Europe except Spain.

3) The beginning of paid subscriptions to the web site. The free trials are scheduled to expire during June.

4) Banner advertising--another revenue stream-- will begin in June.

Other thoughts he shared:

1) VERT is not considered credible competition. Its website is far more difficult to navigate for anyone wanting to obtain a trade lead.

2) The PNLK website will be continually upgraded to conform to the needs of subscribers. Maintaining a user-friendly site is the key here.

3) Dealing with the Stock Detective's longstanding low rating of PNLK is not a high priority. Promulgating business is far more important. Attorneys for the company are looking into the matter, however. Walker volunteered that the adverse comments have been on the site since last year (apparently the date is shown on the site) and anyone but a novice investor wouldn't attach much credibility to it for that reason.

My personal observations: Despite a Fifth Avenue address, PNLK is not being run by spendthrifts. Frugality is a watchword. Also, I would expect that significant revenues will not be reflected until the last quarter of the year.

All in all, I am very encouraged by what I saw and heard. PNLK is a winner. The downside risk is about nil and the upside potential is virtually limitless.
