Mark, thanks for the response. Janus has gone gangbusters the last
18 months. Two things that concern me - 1) the largest holdings of all of these funds you mentioned are technology and even internet. I certainly don't have a problem there, but this leads to 2) their annual returns are essentially all over the place from -3% to +70+%.
My question continues to be: do I go for the pure tech/internet plays with a smaller percentage of my dollars and then go with a more conservative fund or even index fund with the remainder; or, do I go with Janus and take their major ups and major downs. I appreciate your comment about longterm. Only the investment fool would believe Janus 20 will do 50%+ year in and year out.
