Thread,
Copied from Ragging Bull. The comments about Chevron are particularly interesting.
Bearcatbob: As you are probably aware of, I follow the ELH prospect pretty closely. Here's a little input.Chevron,Texaco, and Nuevo Energy have all been drilling into the Temblor zone successfully. As a matter of fact,Chevron is so happy with their results, that they've applied for permits to drill a well on every 20 acres of their prospect.I realize the Nuevo/Kismet well didn't prove out, but, Nuevo got a permit for the Cree Fee -30.The point of all this is that in the state of Calif. eyes, the Cree,Temblor, and Point of Rocks formations are probably already considered viable. As a matter for consideration,so,probably does the oil/gas industry. As you know,Tri-valley has a huge play getting ready to happen to the south of the ELH JV.Chevron is going to drill one in between. The JV outfits will be spread all over the place. It won't take long. You might even tell grayhairs not to even think about Viagra for a while, and concentrate on stock..Have a nice holiday.Tom
