The debate over whether or not SI should have an "ignore" feature has been discussed for quite some time on numerous threads. No sense discussing the theoreticals anymore now that Raging Bull has come to be and has implemented it.

If most people had the same pure motivation for an ignore feature as Chris Hodgkin, I'd be all in favor of it. But, sadly, having had the displeasure to "have" to read a thread or two over on RB, all I can say is if I have to slog through similar posts on SI devoted solely to urging people to ignore so and so, or boasting about who is on their ignore list, I'm afraid the only thing I'll start ignoring is human decency toward those folks. (g)

Let's just say that when it comes to an SI ignore feature, I've seen the future and it's definitely worth ignoring!
