Honda's new EB with NIMH has 20 C cells and costs about $80. To date almost all EB's have been lead acid or NiCad. NIMH has just begun to appear and higher end bikes will probably start to switch over. I think the exciting thing here is that the electric bike represents the first market driven EV in the world and NIMH will play an increasingly important role in it's success.
