JFD, OT At least up here kids don't get a hold of guns and play video games, for real. I was just trying to explain that ordinary citizens in Canada don't carry guns or have them at home. As there are not many guns around, kids or even adults can't use them to settle scores. Instead, they may have to resort to some fist fights. Maybe end of using knives instead of guns in serious cases. Not too many people get hurt this way in comparison to guns.
My comments were not any disrespect to those that have served in armies and I don't comprehend how you could make that connection. I want them to have guns, of course! The police should also be well armed.
Just my thoughts---with only a limited knowledge of the US rights etc.
