There was another nice contract announcement just before this, too - BASF I think. Company Inv. Relations has said that many deals for their software were put on hold due to mergers of prospective customers, as IT depts got sorted out. This seems a credible explanation. That and Y2K, and Asian downturn and commodities downturn , have probably all played a part in putting the company where it is, as opposed to any intrinsic problem with the company or competitive development. So long term this looks very promising.
