Paul,who at one time was persecuting the church met Jesus while on the road to Damascus and was so changed by that encounter that he became the greatest of the apostles.

Your ancient Book of the Dead is just that, a book for the dead. The Gospel of Jesus Christ on the other hand is a book of life written and inspired by the one who gives life...God.
