Business is strong and the fundamentals have not changed despite recent stock jitters. Spec sheet on Com21's DOCSIS-compliant cable modem: com21.com Our next generation DOCSIS v1.1 cable modems will extend the feature set with USB and an all-new enclosure design as well as an on-board VoIP version. Com21 is actively participating in the CableLabs' "PacketCable" efforts to develop Voice-over-IP standards and will produce standard compliant voice products. Back to your original question ? Will Com21 develop DOCSIS-compliant headends ? Without a doubt ! They're pushing the standards well-beyond simple 1.0 compliance and are not promulgating propriatory products, not their style.
