What a weekend..and what a Happy Hour!! The Tike Take Bar in Japan was every thing we hoped it would be.
We started the evening in the Airport bar awaiting the arrival of all our attendees. Boyd got a bit surly when Susie8675309 commented on Boyds choice of cold sake over warm sake as "very ammaturish", Sammie was able to calm him down with a few dozen shots of Mez-Cal. Baldy was the last to arrive, most of us were well on our way to a buzz by the time he got there, so he made the cabbie stop off for a six pack on the way to Tike-Take bar so he could catch up with us.
The Tike-Take Karokie bar has been the center of some cotroversey due to the Beverage of choice being a Beer carbonated with Hydrogen rather than carbon dioxide. We found the drink to be quit tasty and the side effects are asstounding to say the least!!
Chapin, was the first to attempt belching flames and became quit good at it by the end of the evening, unfortunately his aim was off...Zbyte may want to change his name to Baldy now!! The biggest surprise of the evening was Vision21..being from Arkansas he is blessed with the "belching Gene", that guy could could belch flames better than most of the regulars, he was also able to sing the entire song "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston while belching and shooting flames, it was a site to see, I believe he even signed a few autographs. Another new comer to the HH scene was Tasteslikechicken, he has alot to learn about the way we celebrate (he was good for picking up the tab though) we will have to invite him more often.
Even our Good Buddy V$gas showed up, he is definetly out of drinking shape, Boyd was able to make him pass out with only 11 shots of sake.
Sammie and Susie8675309 have definetly been doing their home work, Those girls have made tremendous progress since our last gathering. They challenged Boyd and I to a "yard of Beer" chug off, they both finished their beer before Boyd and I had finshed one, then to top it off Sammie Belched a fire ball that singed the DJ's spiked hair, she was promptly awarded the Happy Hour quote of the week...BUUUURRRRRPPPP!!!.
Unfortunately Phill and SD98 were unable to make it, apparently Phills cat T-SIG has been feeling a bit low, and his other cat Bald Eagle..well he just has an attitude..lol.
SD98 is still in the dog house from the last Happy Hour, his wife was not very appreciative of his "two Day binge".
Thanks to all that were able to make it this week. Also thanks to the veterans that we are remembering over the holiday.
