Jews often say "never again — we must always remember" when referring to the Holocaust. A diary, like that of Anne Frank's, serves as a haunting historical document of the last years of her young life.
This is the diary of Teuta Spahiu, a 20-year-old Kosovar-Albanian woman who documented her family's flight from Kosovo in a remarkable first-person account of ethnic cleansing.

I know we are all, including myself, skeptical about much we read, but we must remember that prime source history comes from SOMEWHERE.
Despite accusations to the contrary, I got into this not taking sides, just wanting to aid those who had lost their homes and family members. But to simply ignore diaries of young people like this may well be equivalent to putting our heads in the sands.
However we feel about the approaches to ridding Kosovar of these threats and whether or not we feel we have the right to TRY to eliminate them, we eventually have to first face what mounting evidence is making pretty evident, that horrible atrocities have been and are being committed.
