If something that I say on this thread can make rrman just a little less certain that the United States is the root of all evil, or encourage Gustave to wonder if he has woven one too many webs of conspiracy, or Barry to feel a little deflated in his knee- jerk support for Clinton, or Nicoll to wonder about the circumstances under which we would be obliged to intervene, etc., I have not wasted my time.If I get a little more insight into the influence of Chomsky, or learn more about the PRC's postion on Tibet, or even am forced to refine my own criteria for intervention, than it is not a waste either... |
