Fallout from the trial?

Nathan Myhrvold didn't have anything to do with the trial. Just one more of many high-level executives that have left since Ballmer took over. Myhrvold had already been booted off the executive committee as part of the reorg, so I guess the bulls-eye for the final kick was in place already.

I still don't much trust Ballmer to be able to do it all by himself, and it's starting to seem more and more like that's just what he's trying to do. Perhaps, though, it's just a necessary housecleaning.
