I think investors are looking for newer news than this. (I know I am). Also, I hate to say it but it's kind of lame that Wave doesn't have their WaveDirect store up and running to correspond to the press release (which doesn't link to the store anyway). At least they should put up a page that resembles the MyPublish page they've got now, something that says "WaveDirect store opening soon, check back for hundreds of CDs, etc.,...blah, blah, blah" They're missing an opportunity to make an impact here. When you see that press release you want to see what's available to buy. We should be taking advantage of that. Ideally, we should also have a direct link available through which people can purchase a WinTV board on line.
Sorry to start the week grousing. I just hate to see opportunities wasted. I hope that we see some changes as the day goes on. On another point, I'm still confused about the "exclusivity" of the CompUSA distribution deal for the WinTV boards. Some releases say it's exclusive, some say it's not. And other stores seem pretty clearly to be offering the board for sale (Egghead, WebShopper). I'd like to know what they mean by exclusive. More importantly, I'd like it to be completely clear to anyone glancing through the press release just how the board can be purchased. |
