Cable is also limited by broadband issues, if not more than wireless, since the space of cable is defined. When the the US fully opens the broadband market (FCC is on it now), wireless can technically become as effective a transfer medium as cable. Wireless uses the same spectrum as cable. Europe/Asia is ahead of the US in broadband allocation. Europe/Asia is where much of AOL's future growth should come. Cable has many bafooned I think. Why else would Qwest be approaching wireless if cable was the complete answer?
