Ok, let me rephrase:

Liberty Media is buying a company. This company builds networks, including high-speed networks. Liberty is getting involved with wireless networks.

Just seems really peripheral to IATV - I think IATV is focused on folks getting their broadband access through their cable system... the software is built into the cable box. So if LBTY is going to encourage other forms of broadband access into the home it could be a negative because those people may not be able to use IATV stuff. Unless there is a plug on the back of the cable box for internet access, and the box doesn't care whether you have your broadband from the cable line, ADSL or wireless. Broadband wireless is difficult because the air is a very inefficient use of bandwidth and if one person is broadcasting on a frequency nobody else can use it in that area. (fiber is much better for broadband).

Anyway, I suppose that I am not one of those who believes that everything Liberty or ATT does impacts IATV one way or the other, however I know that there are many here who disagree. I was just thrown off by the fact that you posted something to me about what looked like a phone company and included all sorts of financial details. Thought for a minute you were responding here to a post I made on the QWST thread.
