Leo, Have you tested WP Office 2000? The file compatibility is most impressive. I've opened several .xls documents, and the formatting was identical, although in one instance the shading was a little off. In the installation routine, Corel has defaulted to the "My Documents" folder so that you can work with all documents in Microsoft's famous directory from the get go.

Actually, this move is positively better than it may sound at first hearing, because now it no longer matters which Suite you have used in the past, WP Office 2000 works seemlessly with all of them. If Corel does any marketing at all to IT Managers, the "compatibility" objection is no longer there.

If Corel becomes able to promote WP 2000 to the masses, the same argument can be made. Its like if you travel Interstate 5, you'll get there no matter which car you choose to drive. This is a strong arugment.

I hope it's Up, Up, & Away??

Scott
