The rumors I have heard were that NIL-A was already in clinic in Europe. In any event, I think this may explain why BVF bailed on Guilford. Going into the clinic in Europe instead of the US gives the drug a more experimental tag. Thus, it could take alot longer to commercialize the drug. Guilford should really put itself up for sale.
