I think that failure of the Ingram deal is already factored into the price. If FTC opposes BKS buying a distributor, they can't very well allow AMZN to buy them either. That's a positive. The Ingram deal isn't the biggest threat to the independents anyway. The threat is the super stores and BKS and BGP will continue to build them. I'm convinced that we will see the growth of on-line book buying flatten. Just as Starbucks SSS continue to grow, so will the superstores. Shopping at these is more than about going to buy a specific book.
