OJ, a little history back June - August 87' we have similar paradox with dichotomous readings of economy. Is Fed looking at economic water glass half full or half empty. Back then Fed raised only to loosen later in year as crisis developed. I am not suggesting similar calamity only pandora's box Fed is in. I believe they are looking at it from half full glass(strong #'s) and better to act now. On lighter note, I am siding with Judy in your friendly wager... gggg... Fed has no choice but to raise 1/4 now or by end of June and take back 1 of 3 1/4 point cuts last fall. Best. J.T.
