Craig, The very first free beta versions of Cinemail were available for download in late 1997. The first consumer versions were not available for sale until late 1998. About the same time they started negotiating for the MPEG4 with Sarnoff. It didn't make any sense to start a major marketing campaign if they were about to upgrade the codec. So sales were minimal last year.

Have you checked out the demo site that I put up last week. You can find a link to it on my post #429, if you havn't yet.
